Award for Excellence in eGovernance for eOffice Implementation during the elets Urban Transformation Summit on 12th December 2019 in Chandigarh
The conclave was inaugurated by Sh. Kamal Kishore Yadav, Commissioner, Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and CEO, Chandigarh Smart City Limited in the presence of His Excellency Shin Bongkil, Hon’ble Ambassador of South Korea to India, Andrew Ayre, Hon’ble Deputy High Commission, British High Commission, Sh. Lalit Jain, Special Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Jaspal Singh, Principal Secretary Planning, Punjab, Sh. Ravi Gupta, Founder & CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. on 12.12.2019. State Informatics Officer & DDG NIC Punjab Sh. Satyender Kumar along with eOffice team was also present during the event.
The award and certificate for excellence in eGovernance to Department of Governance Reforms, Government of Punjab and NIC for eOffice implementation was received by Sh. Ravi Bhagat, Special Secretary, Department of Governance Reforms along with State Informatics Officer & DDG NIC Punjab Sh. Satyender Kumar with NIC eOffice team.
The award was given in appreciation of the efforts for smooth and effective implementation of eOffice in Punjab State. Later on a presentation was given on success story about eOffice implementation and its functionalities were explained giving details about benefits of using eOffice.
Earlier on Nov 1, 2019 Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh launched the eOffice, to facilitate seamless electronic movement of government files. Punjab is the one of the topmost states in the country to roll out such an across-the-board e-Office initiative covering more than 2 lakh employee.
