Established in 1988, Punjab State Centre of National Informatics Centre (NIC-Punjab) has been instrumental in bringing ICT culture in Punjab government. With a focus on building IT interfaces to facilitate citizen-friendly and transparent government, NIC has made significant contributions in improving service delivery by a number of departments including:
Revenue, District administration, Rural Development, Finance, Agriculture, Employment, Elections, Social Welfare, Food & Civil Supplies, Courts and Others
NIC-Punjab has offices at state and district levels within government complexes so as to have a very close coordination with the government.
NIC Punjab is providing its expertise in design, development and implementation of various ICT services to the state Government like iHRMS, IFMS, eOffice, S3WaaS Framework for websites, Business First, eLabour, eChallan, one stop clearance system, GPMS (Govt.
